It is a steroid drug which works well for many different conditions, including severe illnesses.
Take regularly to get the maximum advantage.
Don’t discontinue unless advised by your specialist. You may need to decrease the dosage step by step.
You may get adverse effects such as mood changes or stomach issues. Tell your specialist if you get them. Some reactions may occur after weeks or months. These include weakness of arms and legs, or working up a rounder face.
Your risk of getting an infection may get higher. Say your physician immediately if you have a fever, flu-like symptoms, cough, painful urination.
When not to use?
Do not use the medication(inhaler or spray): If you are allergic to it or any other content in the drug. If you are planning for pregnant or pregnant or breastfeeding a baby.
Inform your physician before using the drug if you have tuberculosis, other chest or lung infection, cold, breathing problem, liver disease or thin or brittle bones.
Don’t usage fluticasone inhalation to treat an asthma attack that has already begun.
Do not usage fluticasone inhalation if you are allergic to milk proteins.
Do not use the fluticasone cream on areas where you have itchiness, redness, rashes, infection or acne on the skin.
Inform your family doctor if you have breathing problems or tightness in the chest even after taking the medication.
General warnings
Before using Furamist Nasal Spray inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (pregnancy, coming surgery, etc.).
Some health situations may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Use as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your specialist if your condition persists or worsens.
Warnings for special population
Pregnancy
Furamist Nasal Spray may be unsecured to use during pregnancy. The advantages from use in pregnant ladies may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your physician.
Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding moms should take this medication with caution because there is no data given on the use of intranasal Fluticasone furoate by nursing mothers are given.
