General Instructions
Take this Tablet one hour before or two hours after the food. Do not take in large amounts than guided. Consult the doctor if you experience any unpleasant effects. Do not stop taking this medication before completion of course.
When Not to Use?
Allergy
Avoid taking this medicine if you have a known allergy to this medication or any other medicines belonging to the class fluoroquinolones.
Tendinitis or tendon rupture
Avoid taking this tablet if you have a history of tendinitis or tendon rupture after using this medication.
Myasthenia gravis
Avoid using this medicine if you have a past or family history of Myasthenia Gravis (weakness and rapid fatigue of muscles under voluntary control).
General warnings
Tendinitis and tendon rupture
Use of Norflox 400mg Tablet will increase the risk to develop tendinitis or tendon rupture during the therapy or several months after treatment. It will affect the shoulder, hand, back of the ankle, or other parts of the body. The possibility of risk is more if you are above 60 years of age and have a history of kidney, heart, or lung transplant or any joint sickness. You are also a considerable risk if you are on corticosteroids like dexamethasone, methylprednisolone or prednisone.
Drug-resistance
Usage of this medication without sufficient proof or suspicion of a bacterial infection should be evaded. Irrational dosing might fail in providing the benefits and even cause toxicity. It may also grow the risk of development of bacteria that are drug resistant.
Pediatric use
The protection and efficacy of this medicine have not been accepted in children and adolescents less than 18 years of age.
Impaired liver function
This tablet should be taken with caution in patients with a history of liver problems due to the increase in the issues of liver enzymes.
Warnings for special population
Pregnancy
This drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy unless necessary. Consult your physician about the potential benefits and risks before deciding to take this medicine.
Breastfeeding
Use of Norflox 400mg drug is not suggested in women who breastfeed due to the side effect on the development of the infant's joints. Use only if necessary under the supervision of the doctor. Monitoring of undesired effects like diarrhea, diaper rash is needed.
