What is Lescol?

Lescol Capsule is a medicine that is used for the treatment of Low Density Lipoprotein, Bad Cholesterol, Bad Triglycerides In The Blood, High Density Lipoprotein In Blood and other conditions.

Lescol Capsule contains Fluvastatin as an active ingredient.

Lescol Capsule works by blocking an enzyme needed by the body to make cholesterol.

Lescol Capsule is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

    • Low Density Lipoprotein
    • Bad Cholesterol
    • Bad Triglycerides In The Blood
    • High Density Lipoprotein In Blood

Lescol Capsule Working, Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology

Lescol Capsule improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:

Blocking an enzyme needed by the body to make cholesterol.

Lescol Capsule is composed of the following active ingredients (salts)

    • Fluvastatin (20Mg)

Lescol Capsule - Side-effects

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Lescol Capsule. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Lescol Capsule - Precautions & How to Use

    • Do not take this drug if you are allergic to it
    • Limit alcoholic beverages

Lescol Capsule may interact with the following drugs and products:

    • Arava
    • Clofibrate
    • Colchicine
    • Erythromycin
    • Fenofibrate

Lescol Capsule - Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Lescol Capsule is a contraindication. In addition, Lescol Capsule should not be taken if you have the following conditions:

    • Allergic reactions
    • Breastfeeding
    • Gemfibrozil
    • Liver problems
    • Pregnant
