General Instructions
Take this tablet correctly as counsel by your physician. It can be grab with or without food. Do not take in more significant amounts than prescribed. When not to use?
Allergy
This medicine is not advocated for use in patients with a known allergy(hypersensitivity) to amlodipine, other calcium-channel blockers, olmesartan, or any other angiotensin receptor blockers.
Aliskiren
Coadministration of aliskiren and this combination medicine is not advocated due to the expand risk of serious adverse effects. This risk is notably higher in the elderly population and patients with diabetes and kidney diseases.
Severe renal impairment
This medication is not suggested for use in patients with severe renal impairment (CrCl < 20 ml/min) due to the enlarge the risk of serious inauspicious effects.
General warnings
Hyperkalemia
This tablet may enlarge the potassium levels in the blood (hyperkalemia). This may generate serious side effects such as fatal cardiac rhythm irregularities. It is recommended to ignore potassium-rich foods (potatoes, bananas) and other medicines that may increase potassium levels (potassium-sparing diuretics and potassium supplements) during treatment with this medication.
Impaired liver function
This drug should be used with caution in patients with liver diseases due to the increased risk of severe unfavorable effects. Close monitoring of liver function is suggested for such patients. Proper dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition.
Pediatric population
This medicine is not recommended for use in children since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
Coronary artery diseases
This tablet should be employed with care in patients with coronary artery diseases since it may deteriorate the patient's condition. Suitable corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical situation.
Driving and operating machines
This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. It is suggested that you do not implement any activities that need high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or working machinery if you feel any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.
